Services

Adopt Revelen without changing how your agency already works.

No fixed install, no dedicated staff. We fit Revelen to your agency size and your existing workflow, then stay with you. Onboarding through ongoing support.

The third pillar of the platform

It sits inside the workflow you run today.

Training and policy support is the third part of the Revelen platform, alongside the tool and the software. There is no fixed scanning site to build, no examiner to hire. We fit Revelen to how your agency already works, the casing still goes to the lab on the same chain of custody, and we stay with you after go-live.

An investigator collecting evidence at a scene, the casing on the same chain of custody

The casing still goes to the lab on the same chain of custody. We fit around the workflow you already run.

Built to fit

Three things Revelen does not ask of you.

Most ballistic tools assume a fixed site, a trained operator, and a lab in the loop. There are roughly 378 fixed scanning sites serving about 18,000 agencies. Revelen was built so a department of any size can run it.

01 No fixed install

No room to build out and no equipment to mount. The scanner travels to the scene with the officer who recovers the casing.

02 No dedicated staff

No new examiner to hire and no analyst to assign. A patrol officer scans a casing after a short training session.

03 No waiting to act

The lead comes from the field, so investigations can continue using actionable insights. The evidence still follows its normal path to the lab afterward.

Onboarding

From first call to a lead at the scene.

A clear path with no long build phase. Deployment is sized to your agency, so a single station and an 11-station rollout follow the same steps at different scale.

01

Scope the deployment

We map how your agency recovers casings today, who works the scene, and where leads need to land. The plan fits your size, whether that is one station or many.

02

Deploy the devices

Handheld ShotOptix units and the Revelen app go to the officers who work scenes. Nothing fixed is installed and your lab workflow is left in place.

03

Train the people who scan

Patrol officers and detectives learn to scan a casing and read a result in a short hands-on session. No forensic background needed.

04

Run it on real cases

Officers scan recovered casings on scene and get a lead in minutes. We stay on through the first cases to confirm it works the way your teams expect.

Where the value lands

Value at patrol, the detective bureau, and the lab.

Revelen touches three groups inside your agency, and it gives each one something specific.

Patrol
A lead while the scene is live

The officer who recovers a casing scans it on site and gets an investigative lead before leaving, instead of handing the evidence off and waiting.

Detective bureau
Cases linked early

Detectives see a recovered casing tied to weapons, people, and prior incidents across jurisdictions while the trail is still warm.

Lab
No workflow to replace

The casing arrives on the same chain of custody. The lab keeps its process and confirms the evidence as it always has.

Ongoing support

We stay with your agency after go-live.

Deployment is the start. Revelen is live in real casework across city, county, state, and federal agencies, and every one is supported past day one with training for new officers, help reading results, and a direct line when a case needs it.
